Our membership coalition of 12 Children’s Advocacy Centers provided the following services to 6,886 child victims of abuse:
4,820 cases involved sexual abuse
826 cases involved physical abuse

Through our Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) Service Enhancement Project, MACA introduced 12 positions dedicated to a specialized response for 1,190 victims of CSEC:
19% were age 12 or younger
68.7% reported being victims of sex trafficking

Annually, Massachusetts has 1,800 PSB cases
98% of children and youth with PSBs who receive early and effective interventions don’t reoffend and instead grow into healthy adults.
We trained 27 clinicians in PSB-CBT from six CACs and their mental health partners
26% of alleged perpetrators were juveniles
We educated more than 2,500 multidisciplinary professionals and community members on PSB and the services available

MACA held our 13th Annual Statewide Conference on May 11th
294 child advocacy professionals were in attendance
95.77% said the conference met or exceeded expectations
97.2% said they plan to attend the conference in the future
