Our membership coalition of 12 Children’s Advocacy Centers provided the following services to 7,346 child victims of abuse:
5,825 cases involved sexual abuse
1,108 cases involved physical abuse

Through our Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) Service Enhancement Project, MACA introduced 12 positions dedicated to a specialized response for 1,188 victims of CSEC:
22% were age 12 or younger
78.9% reported being victims of sex trafficking

Annually, Massachusetts has 1,800 PSB cases
98% of children and youth with PSBs who receive early and effective interventions don’t reoffend and instead grow into healthy adults.
We trained 38 clinicians in PSB-CBT from six CACs and their mental health partners
We educated more than 2,500 multidisciplinary professionals and community members on PSB and the services available.

MACA held our 12th Annual Statewide Conference
on May 10
259 child advocacy professionals were in attendance
98.2% said the conference met or exceeded expectations
96.5% said the conference was a valuable professional/personal development experience
